Lack Of Manpower, Kudus Hospital Needs 250 Health Workers

Loekmono Hadi Kudus Hospital, Central Java, still needs an additional 250 health workers to meet the quality of services for patients at the hospital.

"For the exact need, the number of new employees should be followed up by the Kudus Hospital, because the current number of employees is not ideal, only 950 employees. While the ideal need reaches 1,200 employees," said Kudus Regent Sam'ani Intakiris accompanied by Director of Loekmono Hadi Kudus Hospital Abdul Hakam on the sidelines of visiting the emergency room of Loekmono Hadi Kudus Hospital, Thursday.

Although the number of employees is not yet ideal, he said, service in general is good, including the facilities and infrastructure that have also been fulfilled properly.

If later there are additional employees, he continued, it is hoped that the quality of the service will increase, both hospitalization and outpatient treatment.

Director of Loekmono Hadi Kudus Hospital Abdul Hakam confirmed that the number of health workers currently is not ideal, so there need to be additional hundreds of employees.

"As further health care facilities, we do need additional employees related to health workers," he said.

The goal, he said, is to make patients feel comfortable and not neglected.

He targets that in the near future new employee recruitment will be carried out. For this reason, coordination will be carried out with BKPSDM and personnel organizations in the local government so that they can immediately get health workers, both doctors, nurses, and other health workers.

For the addition of new employees, he said, it cannot be directly in that number, but gradually around 10 employees, so as not to cause turmoil both internally and externally.

"Later, while we evaluate the addition of these new employees within one month and three months, with the targets we all want, including the community in terms of services," he said.

He said the Kudus Hospital currently does not stop innovating in providing the best health services for the community, one of which is in handling stroke with a neural catheterization or neuro-intervention method with the Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) method.

In addition, the Kudus Hospital also provides assistance services for each patient at the Emergency Installation (IGD) of Loekmono Hadi Kudus Hospital, as an effort to provide more optimal service.

Due to the limited number of employees, he said, the Kudus Hospital utilized security units (security guard), which in addition to serving as security, as well as being a companion to new patients so that they could be served quickly, so that patients and their families could be calmer because they were assisted by officers.
