The Headquarters Of The Poso Kodim Dilap Api! The Cause Is Still Mysterious
Head of the Army Information Service Brigadier General Wahyu Yudhayana said his institution had formed an investigation team to trace the cause of the fire at the Military District Command Headquarters (Kodim) 1307/Poso, Central Sulawesi, Monday, May 26 evening.
"The cause of the fire is still under investigation by a joint team from the Indonesian Army and related agencies," Wahyu said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 27.
Based on information obtained by Wahyu, it is suspected that the cause of the Kodim Poso Headquarters fire was due to an electrical short circuit.
Although the fire that hit the Poso Kodim Headquarters was quite large, Wahyu ensured that there were no casualties in the incident.
"I confirm that there were no casualties in this incident. All personnel, including local residents, were successfully evacuated safely," Wahyu explained.
Previously, severe fires reportedly hit Kodim 1307/Poso Headquarters on Monday (26/5) night.

The incident was recorded in several videos spread across various social media networks. The flames were seen engulfing the front of the Kodim Poso Headquarters building.
In the video, a number of residents can be seen passing in front of the Kodim Poso office which is being engulfed in flames. The panic atmosphere was inevitable.
