PPDS Extortion Session Undip Zara Yupita Reveals IDR 88 Million Senior Doctor's Task Force Jockey Fee
The trial of the extortion case against the junior doctor of the Specialist Doctors Education Program (PPDS) Undip Semarang revealed that there was a jockey fee to do the work of a senior PPDS doctor whose value was Rp. 88 million.

The prosecutor of the Semarang City Prosecutor's Office, Shandy Handika, said that the money used to finance the task jockey came from a junior doctor for the PPDS program.
The duties of the senior doctors who are carried out using jockey services consist of two jobs, each of which is paid Rp. 11 million and Rp. 77 million.
The defendant Zara Yupita, a class 76 PPDS student, gave directions to the 77th class students, one of whom was Aulia Risma Lestari, who was suspected of having died from suicide in August 2024.
"The defendant once conveyed the doctrine to the class 77 through the Zoom application regarding the internal regulation of PPDS Undip," he said as reported by ANTAR, Monday, May 26.
The trial also revealed the existence of articles and manners for the anesthesia of PPDS Undip which was conveyed by the defendant Zara Yupita to her juniors.
The articles and manners of anesthesia include, among others, containing Article 1 senior is never wrong.
In addition, Shandy continued, junior doctors are prohibited from complaining.
"If you are still complaining, who will be asked to enter the anesthesia. Junior doctors can only answer yes and are ready. In addition, good things are only for seniors," he added.
The prosecutor said that the seniority and indoctrination at PPDS Undip was a form of covert intimidation.
"The rejection of the regulation will have an impact on the academics of junior doctors," he added.

Doctor Aulia Risma Lestari, who is the treasurer of the 77th batch, collected contributions from PPDS participants in 2022 with a value of Rp864 million.
In addition to financing the jockeys, he continued, the money was also used to buy food for senior doctors who served during the learning that year and other necessities that were not officially regulated.
For his actions, the defendant was charged with Article 368 of the Criminal Code regarding extortion or Article 335 of the Criminal Code concerning coercion.
Regarding the prosecutor's indictment, the defendant stated that he would not file an exception and asked for the trial to continue with a case examination.
