Aghniny Haque And Bastian Steel Become Children Of Epy Kusnandar In Film After Tahlil, Ready To Show July 10

JAKARTA - After releasing his first debut through the film Ambyar Mak Byar in 2024, BION Studios is a business unit from Visinema Group, back with their latest film project entitled Selepas Tahlil.

This film is the first horror film from BION Studios which is also a form of their commitment to continue to present hyperlocal content that is relevant to trends and phenomena in Indonesian society.

In order to strengthen this commitment, BION Studios collaborated with one of the most popular horror podcasts in Indonesia called Lentera Malam.

Where, one of the episodes of Lentera Malam, After Tahlil, which tells the story of a corpse rising and walking alone from Surabaya to Lamongan, has inspired BION Studios to show it through the film Selepas Tahlil.

The night stage is one of the big podcasts and has a lot of good stories with a lot of listeners. Then when we explored After Tahlil, in context there were also quite a lot of people who experienced it. So we can develop it into a story narrative that is not just horror," explained Ajeng Parameswari as the Executive Producer of the film After Tahlil in Cilandak, South Jakarta on Friday, May 23.

Directed by Adriano Rudiman (Goodnight Stargazer, Domikado, Melodialog), written by Husein M. Atmodjo (Steal Raden Saleh), and produced by Taufan Adryan (13 Bombs in Jakarta, Story of Kale: When Someones in Love, Arini by Love.inc), After Tahlil was a family drama that experienced a series of horror events after his father's death.

Until finally they had to face the secrets that had been hidden.

"This is my first horror film and also my first long film, even the first time I worked with people like this great," concluded Adriano Rudiman when asked about the film project After Tahlil

"The promotion that I want to bring in this story is how the film not only presents a horror story, but it is also interesting to follow in terms of the drama story, where we explore two children who have to face the secret of their father," added Adriano Rudiman.

Believed as the main character in this film, Aqhniny Haque explained a little about the character Saras played.

I play Saras in this film, where this character is very related to the first child in Indonesia even around the world because later it must be responsible for taking care of his family. He is also very skeptical, logical, but collides with a series of events that undermine his own ego. the story of Aghniny Haque.
