Good News From Sandiaga Uno: Investment Of IDR 14.5 Trillion In Aceh Will Start In October 2021
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno stated that the signing of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) investment plan agreement in the tourism sector to Pulau Banyak, Aceh Singkil Regency is targeted to take place in October 2021.
"We can do the signing of the agreement during President Jokowi's visit to the Dubai World Expo in the United Arab Emirates in October 2021," Sandiaga said at the Aceh Governor's Hall, Banda Aceh City, quoted from Antara, Sunday, May 2.
Sandiaga Uno's statement was made after meeting with Aceh Governor Nova Iriansyah, talking about the investment plan for the United Arab Emirates tourism sector to Pulau Banyak, Aceh Singkil Regency.
Sandiaga explained that one of his agendas was to visit Aceh to make more detailed preparations regarding the investment plan from the UAE to the Tanah Rencong area, with an investment value of up to US $ 500 million to US $ 1 billion (around Rp. 14.5 trillion).
"Earlier in detail, we (with the Governor of Aceh) discussed the stages and plans for our readiness. After this we will hold a follow-up meeting with the relevant ministries so that the realization target of signing the agreement can be achieved," Sandiaga said.
Meanwhile, Aceh Governor Nova Iriansyah said the provincial government was in a position to support all central government policies, especially regarding the UAE's investment plan to the Veranda of Mecca.
"We just make adjustments. Incidentally most of the requests for incentives from the UAE countries fall under the authority of the central government," he said.
As for all the authorities of the Aceh Government in the investment plan, it has been carried out well, starting from land grants belonging to the Aceh Provincial Government to the central government, licensing, and all matters that fall under the authority of the Aceh Government.
"We have made preparations under our authority and we have confirmed that it will run well," said the Menparekraf.
