Former President Director Dragged In Sritex Credit Legal Case, Bank DKI Ready To Give Data To The AGO

JAKARTA - The management of BUMD PT Bank DKI has opened its voice over the legal case of granting credit to PT Sri Rejeki Isman (Sritex) Tbk. in 2020 which is currently being handled by the Attorney General's Office.

The management of the regional development bank (BPD) owned by the DKI Provincial Government has expressed its support for the investigation of the alleged corruption case of credit facilities from PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten (Bank BJB) and Bank DKI to Sritex.

"Bank DKI respects and fully supports the ongoing legal process as part of law enforcement and the principle of transparency in the financial services sector," said Bank DKI management in a statement, Thursday, May 22.

As a form of institutional responsibility, Bank DKI emphasizes upholding the principles of good corporate governance and compliance with regulations, including providing the data needed to support the disclosure of the legal case.

"Also a full commitment to cooperate with law enforcement officials, including providing the data and information needed for the smooth running and objectivity of the investigation process," explained the management.

In addition, Bank DKI also evaluates and strengthens the internal control system and continues to be carried out consistently in order to maintain the quality of assets and public trust.

Bank DKI management ensures that all banking services and operations run normally and are not affected by the legal process. Funds and customer transactions remain safe, and services to the community and business partners remain a priority.
