Darius Sinathrya's Father Dies At The Age Of 72

JAKARTA - Sad news came from Darius Sinathrya's family where he announced that his father, Pudjono Sugiardho Kartoprawiro, had died.

Darius said his father died on Wednesday, May 21 morning at the age of 72 years.

"With accompaniment of prayer & love, let us convey the sad news; have passed away

"by calmly going to Father's house in heaven, our beloved Grandmother & Father, Pudjono Sugiardho Kartoprawiro, this morning, Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the age of 72 years," wrote Darius Sinathrya, quoted by VOI from Instagram @darius_sinathrya, Thursday, May 22.

For his father's departure, Darius hopes to open the door for forgiveness for all the mistakes of the deceased during his life.

"Please open the door to apologize profusely if there are mistakes and things that were not pleasing to our late father during his lifetime," he continued.

He also prayed that his father's departure would be given peace and convenience by God.

"O Father, give eternal peace and let him always shine brightly. May You always accompany and guide his soul so that he can rest in peace by Your side in heaven," said Darius.

"May God bless us with sincerity, peace and power, in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit," he concluded.

Previously, Darius Sinathrya had thanked his father, who had experienced heart failure, and has gradually improved. For him and his family, this is a miracle from God.

"And this is so, for us and our families, it's a miracle, seeing that the initial condition of being treated dropped really badly and indeed there is a very critical position, a week in the ICU and not knowing his position, he can't communicate," said Darius Sinathrya in Senayan, Central Jakarta, March 3.

The reason is, Darius and his brother and sister have discussed the worst possibility of their father which is also the toughest moment for him.

"Yes, it's really a miracle. One thing that is honest, there was a moment when my sister and I spoke, 'yes, it's time, we have to accept, we have to be sincere', and that's the toughest moment," said Darius.
