Priska Madelin Successfully Wins ITF W15 Maanshan

JAKARTA Tennis Indonesia, Priska Madelyn Nugroho, won the title at the ITF W15 Maanshan event which took place in China.

Priska, 22 years old, who was the first seed in the tournament, climbed the highest podium after successfully stopping the host, Chenting Zhu, with a score of 6-2, 6-4 on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

"The final party is never easy. So, it's fun to win the title," said the 2023 Cambodian SEA Games women's singles gold winner.

This is Priska's first title in 2025 or the ninth in her career in the official tournament of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Women's World Tennis Tour.

This achievement will boost Priska to around 302 WTA Singles rankings. He was chasing his compatriot, Janice Tjen. The 23-year-old tennis player at the same time finished as an ITF W35 semifinalist in Changwon, South Korea.

Janice is currently ranked 301 and is expected to move up to 292 after winning the achievement above.

Priska is still staying in China this week and Janice is also continuing to venture in South Korea due to scheduled appearances at the ITF W35 Andong event.

Priska and Janice will enliven the smell of the 2025 SEA Games women's singles competition in Thailand in December 2025.

The two Indonesian champions will be competitive enough to struggle with Alexandra Eala from the Philippines as well as two mainstay hosts, Lanlana Tararudee and Manandaya Sawangkaew.
