Sadistic Thugs In Kuta Shot, Student Victim Beaten Until Harassed
DENPASAR - Denpasar Police ensnared Viktorius Ariano at 25, the perpetrator of sexual harassment against a student on Udayana University Campus Street, Badung Regency, Bali, with multiple articles.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Denpasar Police, Kompool Laorens Rajamangapul Heselo in Denpasar, Monday said the man suspected of sexually harassing a student with the initials GP (19) also committed other crimes such as theft, persecution and gambling.
"Our suspects apply multiple layers of articles, namely Article 365 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with violence, Article 351 of the Criminal Code (persecution), Article 289 of the Criminal Code (obscenity) and Article 303 of the Criminal Code concerning gambling," said Laorens, Monday, May 19.
The motive was that the perpetrator wanted to control the victim's belongings, then the money from the theft was used for online gambling.
Laorens explained that the perpetrator was arrested on Saturday 17 May 2025 in Taman Pancing, South Denpasar, Bali for reports of violent theft and sexually harassing a student with the initials GP on Tuesday 13 May 2025 at 05.30 WITA at Udayana University Campus Street Jimbaran.
Not only that, based on the results of the investigation, the perpetrator is suspected of having committed a similar crime against three other victims.
In total there are four victims of one foreigner from Russia and three Indonesian citizens and even one victim is a minor. All victims are women.
In carrying out this action, the VAP perpetrator pretended to offer himself as a motorcycle taxi driver, confiscated the victim's belongings and abused him and sexually abused him.
"The method is the same (the perpetrator) took the goods and had time to abuse them, but there were those who did not have time to take their cellphones because there was resistance," said Laorens.
According to police information, the VAP often carried out its actions at night until early morning in quiet places around Uluwatu, Jimbaran, and Nusa Dua. The perpetrators targeted women who traveled alone.
Police are still conducting further investigations related to people who are victims of VAP behavior, considering that in the jurisdiction of the South Kuta Police there are many reports related to robbery and violence.
Regarding the incident of theft, persecution and sexual harassment of GP victims, Laorens explained that in the early hours of the incident, the victim wanted to go to Serangan from his residence in Jimbaran, Nusa Dua.
Initially, the perpetrator came pretending to offer motorcycle taxi services. But the victim refused.
After being refused, the VAP perpetrator parked the vehicle away from that place, then returned to the crime scene by threatening the victim with a knife because he wanted to take the victim's belongings.
After that, the perpetrator took the victim into the bushes and then abused her, sexually abused her and stole the victim's cellphone.
After that, the perpetrator left the victim, draining the contents of the victim's account and then throwing away the victim's cellphone.
For this incident, the victim reported the incident at the South Kuta Police.
The police then arrested the perpetrator a few days later.

When presented at the Denpasar Police Headquarters, the VAP perpetrator wore an orange prisoner vest sitting fixated on a wheelchair. His two legs were bandaged because they were injured by being shot by the police.
Police stated that the VAP suspect tried to fight the officers during the arrest and tried to escape from the police pursuit.
After being traced, the VAP perpetrator is a recidivist of the same case in 2022. He was sentenced to two years in prison and sent to Kupang Prison, East Nusa Tenggara.
