Viral 3 Motorcyclists Experience Accidents Due To Air Cables In North Petukangan Stop D Masiv

JAKARTA The traffic accident incident involving three motorbikes occurred in the North Petukangan area, South Jakarta, on Monday (19/5) in the morning at around 01.30 WIB. The accident occurred precisely at the T-junction of the Petukangan D'Masiv bus stop and was triggered by a cable that suddenly crossed the road.

The initial suspicion was that the cable was dragged by a large truck that had previously crossed the location. As a result, the cable, which was originally hanging above, was attracted to being sidelined and endangering other road users.

Three motorcyclists who came from behind did not have time to escape and ended up getting caught in the cable. All three fell in a row.

A victim was reported to have experienced severe shock and was immediately evacuated using an ambulance to a nearby hospital for intensive treatment. Meanwhile, two other riders suffered minor injuries and received first aid at the scene.

This incident immediately attracted the attention of local residents. A video showing the accident situation and the process of evacuating victims was uploaded to social media by the 'Kabarku South Jakarta' account and became the spotlight of netizens.

Until now, there has been no official statement from the authorities regarding the condition of the cable that stretches low. However, residents hope that there will be control of aerial cables in the area to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
