NTT Flood Charity Concert In Banda Aceh Goes To Investigation, Police: Prokes Violation Case

JAKARTA - The Banda Aceh Police Criminal Investigation Unit has raised the status of a suspected violation of the health protocol (prokes) during a charity concert in Banda Aceh for some time to the investigation stage.

"Regarding the status of the violation of the health protocol which resulted in a crowd, it has been upgraded to the investigation stage," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Banda Aceh Police, AKP M Ryan Citra Yudha, in Banda Aceh, as reported by Antara, Friday, April 30.

AKP Ryan said that after the viral music performance at Cafe New Soho, Penunayong, Banda Aceh on social media some time ago, which was carried out by students to raise funds for flood social assistance in NTT (charity concert), the process continued.

"After the location was sealed by the Banda Aceh City Government, his party had already examined the owner, activity organizers and witnesses," he said.

However, Ryan said, until now his party had not named a suspect because there were still witnesses who needed to be investigated, later they would be held again to determine the suspect.

On this occasion, Kapolresta Banda Aceh Kombes Joko Krisdiyanto is very concerned about this case, especially when it occurs during pandemic conditions and in the situation of the holy month of Ramadan.

"Then when we were carrying out the prokes, it turned out that at the New Soho place there were activities that resulted in a crowd," said Kombes Joko Krisdiyanto.

Joko emphasized that the police will not stop in this case alone, and this case will become an example for other communities.
