Solo Tea Trader Palak, Ormas Person In Ciledug Arrested By Police
TANGERANG A member of a community organization (ormas) with the initials AHZ (38) was arrested by the police for allegedly bullying a solo tea trader in the Ciledug area, Tangerang City, on Saturday, May 10, at around 21.00 WIB.
The Head of the Ciledug Police, Kompol RA Dalby, said that the perpetrator AHZ had been arrested. Meanwhile, his colleague, who is known to have the initials DJ alias Pitak, fled when he was about to be arrested.
"One person with the initials AHZ was arrested, while his colleague DJ alias Pitak fled. However, we already know the identity of the perpetrator," said Kompol Dalby in his statement, Thursday (15/5).
The arrests were made after the police received a report from the victim and examined the video footage that recorded the burglary.
According to the police chief's statement, the incident began when the two perpetrators came to the merchant stall and asked for Rp300 thousand for the reason as "training money." The victim, whose income did not reach that amount, was only able to provide Rp100 thousand.
"Out of fear and not having that much money, the victim can only give Rp. 100,000," explained Dalby.
However, the perpetrators still insisted that the victim hand over the remaining Rp200 thousand and threatened not to allow the victim to sell again if the request was not fulfilled. The action was recorded by the victim and the video went viral on social media.

Many traders do not dare to report because the perpetrators are known as members of mass organizations. We urge the public not to be afraid to report to the police," said Dalby.
