Oppo Officially Launches Reno 14 And Reno 14 Pro With Dimensity Chip, And 6000mAh Jumbo Battery
JAKARTA - Oppo officially launched their two newest phones, Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro, at an event in China on May 15, 2025. As previously predicted, both devices come with a significant improvement over the previous generation. This includes the use of the latest MediaTek chipset, large battery capacity, high level of water and dust certification, as well as advanced camera systems.
Oppo Reno 14 comes with a 6.59-inch flat LTPS OLED screen that offers 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1200 nits. This device also has IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications, making it very resistant to dust and water.
The back of the phone is coated with textured glass with a metal frame that gives a premium impression. Reno 14 is available in three color choices, namely Mermaid, Half Summer Green, and Reef Black. Weighing only 187 grams and 7.32 mm thickness, this phone is still comfortable to hold.
In the kitchen runway sector, Reno 14 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor which recorded a score of more than 1.4 million on the AnTuTu benchmark. This processor is combined with LPDDR5X RAM and 3.1 UFS internal storage, with configurations up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
The 6000mAh capacity battery he carries supports 80W fast charging. Oppo also provides this phone with nano ice crystal heat sink' cooling technology which is claimed to have three times thermal conductivity compared to usual graphite solutions, as used on iPhones.
Reno 14 photography capabilities are reinforced with a triple camera system on the back, consisting of a 50MP main camera with an OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP JN5 telephoto periscope lens that offers up to 3.5x optical zoom capability. The front camera also carries a 50MP resolution, ensuring sharp selfie results. Feature features such as Live Photo, 4K HDR conversion to Live Photo, and the CCD effect are also presented to provide a cinematic feel on the photos.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 14 Pro brings a slightly larger flat OLED display, which is 6.83 inches, fixed with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The processor is upgraded to MediaTek Dimensity 8450 which has a performance similar to the benchmark score above 1.4 million.
This phone is also available in several interesting color variants, such as Reef Black, Mermaid, and Calla Lily Purple. The Mermaid variant presents the final touch of iridescent which changes color depending on the angle of light, giving a futuristic impression.

Reno 14 Pro uses a one-section glass body for optimal water and dust resistance. The rear camera consists of three 50MP sensors for the main camera, ultra-wide, and periscope telephoto. The front camera remains 50MP. Battery capacity is increased to 6200mAh and supported by cable 80W fast charging and 50W wirelessly. To keep the temperature stable, Oppo uses the Tidal Engine cooling system on this Pro model.
Both devices run the ColorOS 15 operating system based on Android 15. This system presents a variety of productivity features, such as floating windows, split screens, and integration with Xiaobu AI assistants supported by DeepSek technology. This assistant is able to help users write text, answer questions based on screen content, and conduct contextual searches.
Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro are now available for pre-order in the Chinese market, and will go on sale officially on May 23, 2025. Oppo offers a wide selection of pricing configurations, ranging from 2799 yuan (Rp6.4 million) to Reno 14 variant 12GB+256GB, to 4499 yuan (Rp10.3 million) for the highest Reno 14 Pro variant with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. However, until now, Oppo has not announced when these two devices will be available internationally.
