Nikita Mirzani Will File A Wanprestasi Lawsuit Against Reza Gladys To The Attorney General, What's The Matter?

JAKARTA - Nikita Mirzani through her attorney, Fahmi Bachmid, took legal steps by filing a lawsuit against a number of parties involved in the case she was facing.

The lawsuit is claimed to be a form of legal action to straighten out cases that according to him are civil, not criminal.

"What is clear is that I got the mandate from Nikita Mirzani and he also asked me to immediately in 1-2 days to file a default lawsuit," Fahmi Bachmid told reporters, Wednesday, May 14.

Fahmi explained that in the lawsuit, several parties were appointed as defendants and were also defendants, including high state officials.

"I will immediately register the default lawsuit with the defendant, namely RG, the second is AM, the third is AM, sorry this is not the defendant, but Defendant 1, Chief of the Indonesian National Police, Defendant 2 is the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia, and there is 1 company that has also become Defendant 3," he said.

According to Fahmi, this lawsuit was filed as an effort to test that the real point of the case was civil matters.

"From this default lawsuit, I will test this issue, that this is where it is that this is a matter of civility that is forced into a criminal case, like that," he explained.

Fahmi also revealed that his party had reminded the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office about the essence of the lawsuit to be filed, namely regarding the provision of money worth Rp. 4 billion which is part of the agreement in November 2024.

"What is clear is that what I have to convey and I have also reminded the DKI High Prosecutor's Office, that I have submitted, are asked to immediately file a default lawsuit where what I am testing is an agreement related to the issue of giving Rp4 billion which is part of the agreement that was agreed in November 2024," explained Fahmi.

Furthermore, he emphasized that this case should not be included in the criminal realm because it comes from an agreement that was violated.

"You just found out that there is an agreement? What you just found out is that it is an agreement and if the agreement is in question it is called default. If it is a civil matter, it is not a crime," he said.
