Khofifah Affirms Disagree With 'Naughty Boy' Label

East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa emphasized that he did not agree with the label 'bad boy' for children who were considered problematic.

"Naughty is N sense, meaning that reason is infinite. Children are born in a fitrah state," said Khofifah as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 15.

He emphasized the importance of a positive approach and character education through cadet-concept schools in East Java.

Khofifah said that since the era of the Governor of East Java, Soekarwo has been present at the Taruna Nala and Taruna Angkasa High Schools.

Currently, he continued, there are Taruna Brawijaya High School, Bhayangkara, Madani, to the plan of the Taruna Pamong Praja High School in collaboration with the Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN) in Bojonegoro.

"These schools can make children a speaker for nationalism, nationality, and aerospace," he added.

In further efforts, Khofifah revealed the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology to support the role of Counsel counseling (BK).

"Teacher BK must be an AI-based counselor. Character analysis can come out in less than a minute," he said.

Khofifah also requested that the recruitment of Taruna High School students be carried out simultaneously as part of the formation of discipline and national identity.

He emphasized the importance of not comparing children and believing with the right approach, superior characters can be formed without the need for stigmatization.
