90 Percent Of Families In The Gaza Strip Experience A Lack Of Clean Water

JAKARTA - Medical sources in the Gaza Strip stated that 90 percent of families in the Palestinian enclave face severe water shortages as a result of systematically destroying infrastructure by Israeli Zionists, as aggression enters its 583rd day.

The same source emphasized that the percentage of contaminated water samples had increased to more than 25 percent, which caused the spread of various diseases among residents, reported WAFA May 14.

They show, with the start of summer and rising temperatures, water needs, especially drinking water, increasing, and community populations in refugee camps experiencing catastrophic conditions due to the lack of available water sources.

They added that the disposal hole intended for waste increases the risk to groundwater, because 90 percent of desalination factories really don't work.

In addition, 80 percent of waste disposal factories do not function, thereby increasing the rate of sea water pollution.
