Trump Datang, Qatar Beli 160 Jet Senilai 200 Miliar Dollar AS

JAKARTA - Qatar signed a deal on Wednesday to buy jets from US producer Boeing for Qatar Airways during President Donald Trump's visit to the Gulf Arab country. Trump said the deal was worth $200 billion and included 160 jets.

Trump and Emir Qatari Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani witnessed the signing procession in Doha as reported by Reuters, Wednesday, May 14.

The deal was announced during Trump's second dismissal on his trip to Gulf countries after he reached a series of deals with Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.

Trump said Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg told him at the signing ceremony that "this is the largest jet order in Boeing's history, that's good".

"The amount is more than $200 billion, but 160 in the form of jets, it's fantastic. So that's a record, Kelly, and congratulations to Boeing. Get the planes out, take them out," Trump continued.
