Police Arrest Perpetrators Of Bag And Cellphone Theft At Brexit Club Kemang, South Jakarta
The South Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim Unit I managed to secure one perpetrator of the theft with a weight that occurred at a nightclub in the Kemang area, South Jakarta.
The perpetrator with the initials MJA Z or Muhammad Jastin Arahman Zulkarnain was arrested on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at around 02.00 WIB, when he was about to return to his home in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta.
This arrest is a follow-up to the police report number LP/B/1619/V/2025/SPKT/POLRES METRO JAKSEL/POLDA METRO JAYA, which was made on May 11, 2025, on suspicion of theft with weight as stipulated in Article 363 of the Criminal Code.
The incident occurred on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at around 02.00 WIB at Brexit Club & Lounge, Jalan Kemang Raya No.20, Bangka, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta.
"The victim, Nurcholifah (32), a resident of Cikini, Central Jakarta, came to the location with a witness named Kartika alias Avi. At the location, they met another witness named Jay, who then introduced the victim to Agustian Syahputra, who was sitting at a different table with five of his friends." The Head of Crime at the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Igo Fazar Akbar, told reporters, Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
At that time, the victim was carrying a Guess black bag containing a blue Samsung Z Fold 6 cellphone, ID card, BCA ATM card, Rp2 million in cash, and a beauty device. The bag was placed on the table where Agustian and his colleagues sat.

"After talking for a while, Agustian asked the victim to come forward. However, only about 5 minutes later, when the victim returned to the table, his bag had disappeared, and Agustian and five of his colleagues were also not visible." continued AKP Igo.
For this incident, the victim reported the incident to the South Jakarta Metro Police.
After an investigation, the police managed to identify the main perpetrator and made an arrest on Wednesday morning at his residence on Jalan Rampai Raya, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.
During the arrest, the team confiscated evidence in the form of:
1 black Guess bag
1 unit of blue Samsung Z Fold 6
Currently, the perpetrator has been detained at the South Jakarta Metro Police and is undergoing further investigation by the Criminal Investigation Unit I investigator Satreskrim.
