Debt Collector In Cengkareng Aniaya, A Light Steel Factory Employee While Collecting Debt, But Wrong Person

JAKARTA - Debt collectors or debt collectors are again making an argument in the Cengkareng area, West Jakarta, on Monday, May 12, 2025. These debt collectors are known to have abused an employee of a lightweight steel factory on Jalan Daan Mogot KM 11, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

The incident was caught on CCTV cameras. In the footage, the perpetrators numbered 4 people and had terrorized by shaking the company's door fence.

After successfully entering, the perpetrators searched for the names listed in the debt collection order. In fact, they were angry and tried to enter the company's office.

Employees are trying to prevent debt collectors from entering the office. As a result, one of the employees with the initials C received physical violence, which was slammed by the perpetrator.

In addition, the perpetrator tried to enter and wanted to meet one of the debtors who turned out to be not working in that location.

The victim with the initials C then reported to the West Jakarta Metro Police. After receiving the victim's report, the West Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim immediately processed the crime scene (TKP) on Monday night.

West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Deputy, AKP Dimitri Mahendra said his party responded quickly to acts of thuggery that occurred in his jurisdiction by visiting the scene.

"We have processed the crime scene and asked for witness statements to get instructions to arrest the perpetrators who are troubling the community," he said when confirmed, Tuesday, May 13.

AKP Dimitri has not been able to explain in detail the thuggery of debt collectors, because an investigation is still underway.

According to Wakasat, there was only one victim who received physical violence.

"The perpetrators fled after committing physical violence and are still being chased by us," he said.
