A Total Of 9,245 Indrapura-Kisaran Toll Road Vehicles Ahead Of The Vesak Holiday

PT Hutama Karya (HK) recorded that the volume of Indrapura-Kisaran toll traffic ahead of the Vesak or May 9, 2025 holidays reached 9,245 vehicles, an increase of 8.55 percent compared to normal conditions.

"The toll road is traversed by 9,245 vehicles, an increase of 8.55 percent compared to normal traffic volume," said Executive Vice President (EVP) of the Corporate Secretary of Hutama Karya, Adjib Al Hakim as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, May 11.

Adjib Al Hakim said that the volume of traffic on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JJTS), including the Indrapura-Kisaran Toll Road, has increased to welcome Vesak Day.

He said the volume of vehicle traffic on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road section in the same period reached 82,696 vehicles, an increase of 7.18 percent.

"This figure indicates the start of the movement of people in Sumatra in utilizing the moment of holidays," he said

The company noted that the volume of traffic on the Terbanggi Besar-Kayu Agung Toll Road was passed by 14,656 vehicles, an increase of 5.66 percent, Palembang - Prabumulih Toll Road as many as 14,351 vehicles or an increase of 1.04 percent and the Betung - Tempino - Jambi 6,094 Toll Road for vehicles increased 9.15 percent.

Then the Bengkulu - Taba Penanjung Toll Road as many as 1,692 vehicles or an increase of 3.61 percent, the Pekanbaru - Dumai Toll Road as many as 15,885 vehicles, an increase of 7.16 percent and the Pekanbaru - XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road an increase of 17.35 percent or passed by 7,594 vehicles.

Furthermore, the Binjai Langsa (Binjai-Pangkalan Brandan) Toll Road was recorded at 9,245 vehicles or an increase of 4.89 percent and the Sigli - Banda Aceh Toll Road (Seulimeum - Baitussalam 3,934 vehicles or an increase of 21.31 percent.

Adjib emphasized that the company continues to inform the public about the latest developments in traffic periodically to ensure smooth traffic on toll roads during the holiday.

He appealed to all toll road users to always check the condition of the vehicle before driving and ensure that the vehicle is in prime condition, and does not drive sleepy.

"Make sure the electronic money card is in good condition and the balance is sufficient before traveling. We agree that safety is number one," he said.
