Defeat Popsivo Polwan, Pertamina Enduro Wins Proliga

YOGYAKARTA - The Jakarta women's volleyball team Pertamina Enduro won the 2025 PLN Mobile Proliga title after defeating Jakarta Popsivo Polwan 3-0 (26-24.25-22, 25-16), at GOR Amonggrogo Yogyakarta, Saturday, May 10, 2025 evening WIB.

The top match is easy. Pertamina Enduro did not encounter any significant obstacles when stopping Popsivo's resistance. Even Pertamina was only forced to work extra hard in the first game and had to end it with a brace.

But in the second and third games, Junaidah Santi et al advanced smoothly. Junaidah herself became the star of his team's victory. He performed brilliant performance to lead him to become the best player of PLN Mobile Proliga 2025.

In that match, both teams fielded the core players. This makes the fight exciting and tight, especially in the first game. They display impressive games and play each other in points.

Popsivo Polwan driven by Arsela Nuari, Madison Kingdom, Jessica Mruzik, Yolla Yuliana, and Amalia Fajrina tried to play attacking. However, Pertamina Enduro, who relied on Junaidah Santi, Iana Scherban, Jordan Thompson, and Tisya Amalia, could match Popsivo Polwan's game.

When they drew 17-17 in the first game, Pertamina Enduro continued to put pressure on them so they won 23-20. But Popsivo Polwan refused to give up.

Gerardo Daglio's team continued to work hard. As a result, Arsela Nuari and her team were able to get close to Pertamina Enduro 24-23 points. They even managed to equalize 24-24. It's just that with a single brace, Pertamina Enduro managed to lead 26-24.

The second game was tight again. Chasing points continues, from 4-5, 5-5, 5-6, 6-6, to 8-8. Popsivo Polwan tried to escape from his opponent's determination and was 11-13 ahead. However, Pertamina Enduro managed to equalize it to 13-13.

Only Popsivo Polwan finally made a fatal mistake when he entered a critical situation. Because of one service error Arsela Nuari made Pertamina Enduro lead 24-21. And, they managed to win the second game 25-22.

Set ketiga, para pemain Popsivo Polwan belum bisa keluar dari tekanan. Pertamina Enduro semakin berada di atas angin, setah tengah set ketiga mereka unggul 16-12.

Even after the end of the third game, Popsivo Polwan was further behind 22-13. The third game was finally won by Pertamina Enduro 25-16.

Pertamina Enduro, Bullent Karslioglu said that his party always maintains consistency in the game so that they can sweep three straight games.

"This allows us to win every game. In addition, we would like to thank the manager and all the players who have fought and won the Proliga," said Karslioglu.

Pertamina player Enduro Jordan Thompson admits a good match today.

"We played according to the instructions of the coach. But all of my friends played very well and managed to become champions," said Thompson.

Meanwhile, Junaidah did not expect to be selected as the best player. "It's just that from the start I was determined to bring a medal," he said.

On another occasion, Popsivo Polwan coach Gerardo Daglio admitted that his team had played well. "But playing well is not enough," he said.

Pertamina Enduro in addition to getting trophies and medals also received prizes of coaching money of Rp. 400 million. Meanwhile, Popsivo's second rank was Rp. 250. million, the third Petrokimia was Rp. 150 million and the fourth was Ekelectric PLN Rp. 100 million.

Penerima pemain terbaik mendapat uang pembinaan masing-masing sebesar Rp 10 juta, begitu juga pelatih terbaik. Sedangkan pemain terbaik/MVP Rp 25 juta.
