From Disaster Response To Palestinian Volunteers, Gelora Party Forms 4 Community Service Agencys
JAKARTA - The Indonesian People's Wave Party (Gelora) has launched four community service agencies. The goal is to help people in various dimensions.
The service agencies are the Public Service Agency, Disaster Response Agency, Advocacy and Law Service Agency, and the Palestinian Volunteer Agency.
"Hopefully, with the presence of these four social service agencies, the role and contribution of the Gelora Indonesia Party can be more and more widespread for the community," said the Chairman of the Coordinator for the Development of the Indonesian Gelora Party DPP, Triwisaksana, at the launch, in Jakarta, Saturday, May 10.
In accordance with their respective names, said Triwisaksana, the newly formed social service agency will provide assistance and service raising for the community.
"The Gelora Party does not only deal with politics and the state, but also serves the community," added Triwisaksana.
According to Triwisaksana, the presence of these four social service agencies is also part of efforts to bury the ecosystem for real contributions to people who are already known to the world as a religious and generous community.
Met at the same location, Chairman of the Public Service Agency of the Indonesian Gelora Party, Euis Krustiati, said the agency he leads aims to provide assistance so that more people can access public services.
"There are many government programs that are good but some people have difficulty accessing them. That's reality. Instead of blaming each other, it's better for us to move to accompany," said Euis.

The Deputy Chairperson of the Disaster Response of the Indonesian Gelora Party, Gito Rustanto, reminded that Indonesia is in the Pacific Ring of Fire area, which is the meeting point for several earth plates, making it prone to natural disasters.
"We will collaborate with civil groups, disaster management agencies, and community groups, to increase disaster preparedness," said Gito, on the same occasion.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Palestinian Volunteer Agency, Mushab A Robbani, emphasized that the commitment to support Palestinian independence is the breath of the Indonesian Gelora Party.
"We hope that the Palestinian Volunteers Agency will sharpen the initiatives related to Palestine, after previously the Indonesian Gelora Party has formed a Gelora Volunteer for Palestine (Regena)," said Mushab.
Still on the same occasion, the Head of the Advocacy and Legal Service Agency of the Indonesian Gelora Party, Musri Efendi, said that there are still many people who have legal problems.
Therefore, said Musri, the agency he leads will intensify counseling and be ready to collaborate with other institutions in the field of advocacy and law to build legal awareness in society.
"This is a concrete step we can take," said Musri.
As message from the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Gelora Party, Anis Matta, all of these initiatives are part of the spirit that the Gelora Party is home to all Indonesian people, with a wide range of activity dimensions in it.
