IPhone Fold Will Use Samsung's Artificial Screen, More Sophisticated Than The Galaxy Z Fold!

JAKARTA - The iPhone Fold screen will reportedly come with more advanced screen technology than Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold series. Even though the screen is manufactured by the South Korean company itself. This information was revealed by a trusted leaker who claims that Apple will use a thinner and more up-to-date internal screen than all Samsung's current folding products.

Apple is known for its not-hurry approach in adopting new technologies. The company tends to wait until the quality of the technology is really mature before using it in their products. In the iPhone Fold case, Apple reportedly delayed its launch because it was dissatisfied with the folds (crease) that were still too visible on the folding screen on the market. However, Samsung was finally able to perfect this technology according to Apple's request last February.

Leaker with the account name eux1122 said that Apple also requested that the screen thickness be reduced, so that the device could have slimmer folds. Samsung is also claimed to have succeeded in meeting this demand. The iPhone Fold screen is said to use a new manufacturing process that has never been used in Samsung products before.

The sensor's touch on the new screen is embedded directly into the panel, instead of being a separate layer, so that the thickness can be reduced by 19% compared to the components used in the Z Fold series. In addition, screen weights also become lighter, while color reproduction and brightness levels increase drastically.

However, there is still one doubt. Previous reports say that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be the world's thinest foldable phone, with a thickness of just 3.9 mm when it opens and 8.9 mm when folded. If true, it is likely that this new screen technology will also be used in the latest generation Galaxy Fold.

Even so, the eux1122 mentions that Apple is proposing a new trademark for this screen technology, which could be an indication that the version used on the iPhone Fold is indeed more sophisticated than even the Galaxy Z Fold 7's. As usual, Apple is known for using exclusive marketing terms such as Retina, Super Retina, Ultra Retina XDR, or ProMotion which in fact does not always refer to unique technology.

Apart from that, what is clear is that Apple is now satisfied with the final result and is ready to release an iPhone Fold with a sleek and premium shape.
