Ukraine Again Accuses Russia Of Repeatedly Violating The 'Lelucon' Armistice
JAKARTA - Ukrainian foreign ministers have repeatedly accused Russia of violating a ceasefire 3 days after its start. Ukraine called the ceasefire initiative Russia rolled out a "smooth".
However, there was a decline in combat activity after the ceasefire announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin came into effect in the early hours of Thursday, May 9, with a pause in drone/drone and missile attacks that rocked Ukrainian cities earlier this week.
"It is possible, Putin's parade of ceasefire' has proven to be just a play," Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on X said, referring to a ceasefire that coincided with the May 9 parade on Moscow's Red Square to commemorate the end of the Second World War.
"Russian troops continue to attack across the front lines," Sybiha wrote.
"From midnight to midnight, Russia committed 734 ceasefire violations and 63 assault operations, 23 of which are still ongoing," he added.

Sybiha said Kyiv informed the United States and European countries of Russia's actions.
Russia's defense ministry, quoted by the Interfax news agency, said Ukraine carried out 488 attacks on Russian targets and twice tried to break through the border in the Kursk region.
Ukraine is not committed to complying with the ceasefire, calling a 3-day ceasefire a trick from Putin to create the impression he wants to end the war.
