DAY6 Concert Promoter Called Kemenpar Atas Kegamotion And Disappointment Of Spectators

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Tourism (Kemenpar) summoned the concert promoter DAY6 in Jakarta on May 3, Mecimapro. The concert is known to have done several things that have disappointed fans, causing a commotion on social media over the past month.

In a meeting involving the Ministry of Creative Economy and the Association of Indonesian Music Promoters (APMI), the Ministry of Tourism has asked for information from concert promoters about the incident.

Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana said that organizing events and performances was an important part of the tourism business.

"The Ministry of Tourism is committed to realizing a good event organization ecosystem that can have a broad impact on all parties," Menpar quoted ANTARA as saying on May 8.

Deputy for Activity Organizers at the Ministry of Tourism Vinsensius Jemadu said that the government needed accurate information to map the problem and determine solutions related to chaos in organizing concerts.

"We will ensure that all processes run well in a manner in the spirit of realizing a quality event organization ecosystem without neglecting the rights and obligations of each party," said Vinsensius.

The Ministry of Tourism is committed to providing assistance to business actors in organizing events and activities that support the development of the music concert ecosystem.

The assistance efforts are aimed at encouraging the improvement of the quality of concerts, including the provision of facilities, infrastructure, and supporting services.
