JAKARTA - Famous designer Ivan Gunawan could not hide his emotions in watching his old friend Luna Maya's marriage. In a video upload on YouTube TS Media quoted by VOI on Thursday, May 8, Ivan honestly expressed his mixed feelings regarding the happy moment.

"Honestly, I was a bit depressed because my old virgin gang was already married. In the past, the benchmark was, 'ah Luna Maya just hasn't been married yet, what are you doing married'. Then that's it, then I also made content, so I'm just stuck with the content," said Ivan Gunawan.

Even though he had joked about the pressure from his circle of friendship, Ivan emphasized that he was very happy with Luna Maya's marriage. He was even willing to fly to Bali to witness his friend's historic day.

"But I'm very happy today, that's why I defended coming to Bali to witness Luna's marriage because yes, this is definitely what she had hoped for from a long time ago, so today I took the time to attend," he continued.

Ivan also recalled the beginning of his introduction to Luna, who had existed since two decades ago when Luna started her career as a model in Jakarta.

"I know maybe Luna from 20 years ago, from the first time she came from Bali, came to Jakarta as a model, in the past she had come to my fashion show, had traveled to the Om Adjie fashion show," said Ivan Gunawan.

Not only at the beginning of their careers, the relationship between the two was also closely established in the entertainment world in the country. Ivan and Luna often appear together as judges in various talent search events, one of which is Indonesia's Next Top Model.

"And we quite often work together in Indonesia Next Top Model, both of them become judges. So, yes, we often work with them often," he concluded.
