The Attorney General's Office Names 3 Suspects Of Satellite Project Corruption At The Ministry Of Defense
The Attorney General for Military Crimes (Jampidmil) of the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) has named three suspects in the case of alleged corruption in connectivity in the project to procure an orbital slot of 123 degrees East Longitude at the Ministry of Defense in 2012 2021.
Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Harli Siregar, said the first suspect was a retired TNI with the initials L.
"Young Admiral TNI (Ret.) L as the Head of the Defense Facilities Agency of the Ministry of Defense and as the official commitment maker (PPK)," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 7.
The next suspect is Anthony Thomas Van Der Hayden (ATVDH) as intermediary and GK as CEO of Navayo International AG.
Kapuspenkum said suspect L as PPK in the Ministry of Defense along with suspect GK as CEO of Navayo signed a contract for the procurement of goods and services on July 1, 2016.

However, the appointment of Navayo International AG as a third party did not go through the process of procuring goods and services.
"Navayo International AG is also a recommendation from Anthony Thomas Van Der Hayden," he said.
The suspects were charged with Article 2 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 jo. Article 64 of the Criminal Code subsidiary Article 3 jo. Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 jo. Article 64 of the Criminal Code.
