Brothers And Sisters Become Victims Of Persecution In Bekasi, Perpetrators Of Ex-Girlfriend Victims

BEKASI - Bekasi Metro Police are handling cases of mistreatment of two people, brothers and sisters, who live in Rawajulang Village RT 005/002, Mekarwangi Village, West Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency, West Java, by a man with the initials AG.

"We investigated and pocketed the identity of the perpetrator, we will immediately arrest him," said Head of the Bekasi Metro Police, Kombes Pol. Mustofa, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 7.

The police chief explained that officers rushed to the scene of the incident after receiving reports of injured victims suspected of being assaulted.

"We went to the scene and visited two victims who were seriously injured who had been taken to the hospital," he said.

One of the victims with the initials SR (46 years old) was a female employee, who was stabbed by a machete by a man who was suspected of being a ex-girlfriend, causing the victim's wrist to break.

The victim's sister, with the initials SU, who tried to help, also suffered a stab wound of a similar sharp object on the palm of her left hand, so that she became a victim.

Officers who arrived at the location immediately processed the scene of the case and examined a number of witnesses to the two victims.

Kasatreskrim Polres Metro Bekasi Commissioner Pol. Onkoseno Grandiarso Sukahar explained the chronology of the incident began when victims SR and SU were in a rented house.

At that time the victim was sleeping and his sister was cooking in the kitchen.

Not long after, his sister heard the sound of people tapping on the door. Because she was cooking, SU did not open the door but woke her brother, SR.

"SR woke up and peeked from the window," he said.

SU heard the sound of the door breaking through until it finally opened. The witness saw a man known as AG, SR's subordinate at work.

"SU saw AG carrying a machete and immediately grabbed the victim blindly, at that time SU walked to the victim to help SR but the perpetrator approached and grabbed a machete towards him until it hit the palm of the left hand," he said.

The perpetrators of AG then left the two victims while still carrying the sharp machete. SU helped SR by wrapping his severed left hand before leaving the rented house to ask for help.

"SR's condition suffered an open wound to the neck, two open lacerations to the right shoulder and a broken wrist," he said.

Onkoseno added that based on SU's statement, the perpetrator worked in the same place as his brother. SR and AG have also had a romantic relationship since 2022, then ended in 2023.

Perpetrators in March 2025 also went to the victim's rented house with anger because they felt they were not prioritized in their work.

"The perpetrator was upset because the victim was considered to be hampered in determining permanent employees, initial information was like that," he said.
