Alhamdulillah, The Toddler Who Was Thrown Away By A Couple In Pulogadung Is In Good Health, Now Being Treated At The Cipayung Social Institution

JAKARTA - A 5-day-old baby boy who was dumped by a couple in the Pulogadung area, East Jakarta, is currently still being treated at the Balis Tunas Bangsa orphanage (PSAA), Cipayung, East Jakarta.

"The baby is currently in good health and is being handled by the East Jakarta Health Office," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed Tuesday, May 6.

Meanwhile, the case of dumping the baby is still being handled by the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim PPA Unit.

"Later we will follow up on this case professionally and we will see if there are things we can take policy related to this case, we will coordinate first with related agencies in East Jakarta," he said.

Meanwhile, from the results of the examination of the two perpetrators with the initials SAA (24) and RH (20), both of them had the heart to throw the baby away because RH was embarrassed that she was pregnant outside of marriage.

"Because their relationship was not approved by the parents of the male and female parties. They are ashamed that their relationship has not been approved, why is there a child (a baby that has been born)," he said.

Previously, the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim PPA Unit managed to catch a pair of lovebirds who were caught on CCTV cameras throwing away a baby in the Pulogadung area, East Jakarta, Monday, May 5, noon.

The arrest of the perpetrator was based on the characteristics recorded on CCTV. After the police pocketed his identity, the two perpetrators were immediately arrested at the Indekost in the Kelapa Gading area, North Jakarta.
