Gemini Singi ChatGPT With Multi-image Upload Features

JAKARTA - Google continues to improve its AI capabilities, Gemini, by presenting upload features of several images at once for some Gemini Advanced users through the 2.0 Flash model on the web version. This marks a step forward in Google's pursuit of its departure from ChatGPT, which has long supported similar features.

Previously, Gemini users could only upload one image in a single prompt, making it less ideal for those who take advantage of visual input intensively. Now, with this multi-image feature, users can enter multiple images to enrich their prompt context.

However, although this feature is starting to become available, some users state that the quality of the resulting image output is still not satisfactory. In addition, this feature is not evenly available. Users with free accounts can't try it yet, and even some Gemini Advanced paid account owners haven't had access to a possible access because this feature is still in the process of gradual launch.

A Reddit user with the name Gaiden206 shared their experiences of being able to upload multiple images at once to Gemini Advanced on the web. This finding was first highlighted by contributor AssembleDebug.

In addition to the multi-image upload feature, Google is also starting to roll out the ability to modify images, both produced by AI and uploaded by users. This feature is available in the mobile app and Gemini's web version, allowing users to change backgrounds, change objects, add new elements, and more. The launch of this feature is also carried out in stages, with support for more than 45 languages and countries that have supported Gemini services.

Even so, there is no official information on when all Gemini Advanced users will get full access to these new features.
