Mr. Tarno Denies The Issue Of Ngemis: I Don't Ask, Who Gives People

JAKARTA The legendary Indonesian racer, Pak Tarno, finally spoke up regarding the issue that said he was begging in public. In his statement to reporters, Pak Tarno firmly denied the news and explained the real situation.

"Yes (not really begging)," said Mr. Tarno in response to the oblique news circulating.

He explained that he only serves the requests of fans who want to take pictures together. Not infrequently, after taking pictures, some people voluntarily give money as a form of appreciation. He accepted this gracefully, especially because it can help with daily needs, including medical expenses.

"Mr. Tarno has a lot of fans asking for photos, after that, just give them money, just accept it. Everyone also wants to be given money," he said.

"I'm not asking, who gives people. I asked for a photo asking for money, it's okay for treatment. Yes, I accept it's okay for treatment," continued Mr. Tarno.

Pak Tarno also added that his activities outside the home were just to relax and play around. He even brought food from home with his wife, not to seek mercy.

"I'm just playing around, I brought rice with a thermos. The wife brought rice, brought a thermos. Bring food," he said.
