Residents Don't Have To Worry Anymore, Bengkulu Prepares Free Ambulances In Every Village

BENGKULU - Bengkulu Provincial Government has begun to realize the free ambulance program for all villages as part of the flagship program "People's Assistance".

Deputy Governor of Bengkulu Mian said the initial stage of this program would be focused on one village in each sub-district first.

The free ambulance promised this year begins. God willing, first prioritize one sub-district village. Helmi "Mian promised all villages will get an ambulance," said Mian in Bengkulu, Antara, Sunday, May 4.

According to Mian, the leadership of the pair of Governor Helmi Hasan and himself will continue to encourage programs that have a direct impact on the community, especially in the health sector.

This village ambulance is expected to provide access to emergency services that are faster and more appropriate, especially for residents in remote areas.

Previously, Governor Helmi Hasan said that this ambulance was part of the Bengkulu Provincial People's Assistance program, which includes health services to other social activities at the village level.

"This ambulance is not only for health services, but can also be used for social activities for rural communities," said Helmi.

This program is also synergistic with the help of the central government which has distributed cooperatives, trucks, clinics, warehouses, and cold storage facilities to a number of villages in Bengkulu.

In addition to the health sector, the People's Help program also targets the fields of education, social welfare, infrastructure, and economic empowerment such as the printing of new rice fields and facilitating BPJS for workers.
