Allegedly Falling Or Killed? Young Man In Bandung Found Dead In Cianjur Kos

CIANJUR - A man from Bandung was found dead in the bathroom of his boarding house in Ciherang Village, Karangtengah District, Cianjur Regency, West Java, Sunday, May 4.

Police are still investigating the cause of death of a victim known as Riska Abdul Razak (29), a resident of Cibiru, Bandung Regency.

Karangtengah Police Chief Kompol Rachmat Hamdan said the victim's body was first found by the boarding house owner lying in the bathroom and dead.

"The victim is known to work in Cianjur. Usually he is seen leaving for work, but that day he did not appear at all," Rachmat told reporters quoted from Antara.

Feeling suspicious because he did not get a response from the victim, the boarding house owner tried to knock on the bedroom door. After no answer, the owner opened the door using a spare key. That's when the victim was found dead.

Police officers who came to the scene had bruises on the head and several parts of the victim's body. To determine the cause of death, Riska's body was taken to a hospital in Bandung for an autopsy.

"We have not been able to conclude whether the wound was caused by a fall or for other reasons. We are still waiting for the autopsy results to determine the exact cause," said Rachmat.
