Novita Encourages Government To Pay Attention To The Welfare Of Posyandu Cadres

TRENGGALEK - Member of Commission VII DPR who is also the Chair of the Trenggalek Regency Posyandu Development Team, Novita Hardini, has asked for more attention to the welfare of Posyandu cadres who are considered to have a strategic role in improving the health quality of mothers and children at the village level.

The request was conveyed by Novita after the inauguration of the Trenggalek Posyandu Development Team for the 2025 '30 service period at the Bawarasa Building, Saturday.

According to him, Posyandu cadres are the spearhead of primary health services, ranging from education, monitoring of children's growth and development, to early detection of public health problems.

"The spirit of Kartini is extraordinary. They are not only health drivers, but also drivers of change in the nation's civilization. So their welfare should not be ignored," said Novita.

He hopes that the Trenggalek Regency Government will not only support socialization and training programs, but also think about incentive support that is appropriate for cadres.

According to him, the success of national programs in the health, economic and education sectors is strongly determined by the health conditions of the public that are guarded by Posyandu cadres.

"If people's bodies and bodies are not healthy, then the progress target in other sectors is difficult to achieve," he said.

Novita also encouraged cadre training to be carried out in a sustainable manner and not limited only twice a year.

He considered that increasing the capacity of cadres should be a priority agenda, because there are still many people who do not understand basic literacy around nutrition, parenting, and a healthy lifestyle.

"I am optimistic, with the confirmation of the Posyandu coaching team today, the public health ecosystem will be stronger, as long as there is a budget space to support it," said Novita.

He said the Trenggalek Regent's attention to health issues was quite high. A number of programs to improve the welfare of cadres, according to him, are starting to appear in direction and shape.

"The hilal has been seen. It's just a matter of how commitment we are all to guard it so that Posyandu cadres can live a prosperous life and continue to be at the forefront of health development," he concluded.
