Lahan Rebutan Di Kemang, 10 Orang Pajak Bersenjara Panjang Jadi Tersangka
The South Jakarta Metro Police arrested ten men suspected of being involved in an attack related to a land dispute on Jalan Kemang Raya, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
The perpetrators who were arrested were known to have the initials KT, AS alias Agus, MW, YA, Y, RTA, PW, WRR, MAG alias Ade, and AK alias Andi.
"The perpetrators were arrested after being involved in the attack incident that occurred on April 30, 2025," said Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Murohih, to reporters, Friday, May 2.
The incident began when a group of perpetrators reportedly received payments to seize the disputed land. They then bought various sharp weapons to air rifles in the Jakarta area, before visiting the scene.
The weapons were stored in the trunk of Agya's yellow car and were only released upon arrival at the location, explained Murohil.
Arriving at the location, conflicts with groups guarding the land broke out. Tensions peaked when one of the perpetrators hit the wall with a hammer, which sparked violence between the two camps.
The commotion lasted about 10 minutes before the masses of the two sides dispersed after the police arrived and dispersed them, Murohi said.
