South Jakarta Metro Police Will Examine Two Witnesses Of Jokowi's Fake Certificate Report

The South Jakarta Metro Police is investigating a report related to allegations of fake diplomas addressed to the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

This report was filed by the Advocate Public Defender Team who are members of the United Peradi. In their report, they accused a number of parties of spreading false information regarding President Jokowi's diploma. The reported parties in this case include former Menpora Roy Suryo, digital forensic expert Rismon Sianipar, TPUA activist Rizal Fadilah, and dr. Tinouzia Tyassuma.

The report has been received with registration number LP/B/1387/IV/2025/SPKT/POLRES METRO SOUTH JAKARTA/POLDA METRO JAYA, dated April 26, 2025.

The Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Murohih, said that the police would immediately summon a number of witnesses for questioning regarding this case.

"Investigators plan to summon witnesses," said Murohil to reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, Friday, May 2.

He added that for the initial stage, there are two witnesses who will be summoned in the near future. However, Murohi was reluctant to specify the identities of the witnesses.

"Meanwhile, what two people have planned first. We will see developments from the results of the investigation," he said.

Murohih, who is also the former Tebet Police Chief, said that the summoning of witnesses is scheduled to take place this week, according to the investigator's plan.

"Hopefully it's according to the predetermined schedule," he concluded.
