Baim Wong Denies The Allegation Of Domestic Violence From Paula Verhoeven: Not Proven In Court
JAKARTA - Baim Wong's party through his attorney, Fahmi Bachmid, gave a response regarding Paula Verhoeven's report to Komnas Perempuan regarding the alleged existence of domestic violence. Fahmi firmly said that the allegations were declared not proven in Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven's divorce trial.
"In the trial process, all the evidence has been submitted. So from our evidence, it is 86.9 fact witnesses, meaning that witnesses are aware of the incident, 3 experts. After that, they submitted 47 pieces of evidence from their side," said Fahmi Bachmid, quoted by VOI from Instagram @rumpi_ttv, Friday, May 2.
"From the evidentiary process, the panel of judges considered that there was no evidence of domestic violence, both psychologically and physically domestic violence. That was the consideration of the panel of judges," said Fahmi Bachmid.
During the trial, Fahmi admitted that Paula submitted CCTV evidence related to domestic violence, unfortunately the evidence was not supported by other evidence.

"Yes, what was submitted is evidence, but it cannot prove, it has been considered, there is CCTV evidence but without the support of other evidence, for example there is a post-mortem, for example there is a certificate," said Fahmi.
"The CCTV evidence is only a movement, not (a clear picture), just the movement of the applicant, in this case Baim, at that time to do something and it was not intentional and it was not in the form of domestic violence," he continued.
Therefore, the Judge decided that Baim did not have physical or psychological violence against Paula.
"Because of what? Because it has been analyzed. The judge stated that there was no evidence of psychological or physical violence," he concluded.
