Leaks Of Galaxy S25 Edge Camera Specifications: 200MP Main Camera Without Telephoto
JAKARTA - Samsung is reportedly preparing for the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge, which is touted as the thinst smartphone in the history of this South Korean company.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is predicted to have a thickness of only 5.8mm, weighing only 163 grams. Even though it's thin, Samsung doesn't sacrifice its performance and build quality.
Previously, there had been leaks that this smartphone would have a 200MP main camera. However, the latest leak from the Sammy Guru site revealed that this model will not be equipped with a telephoto camera (zoom) and the battery capacity will also be reduced.
The Galaxy S25 Edge will use a 200MP 1/3-inch main camera, the same as the one used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This allows users to get photo results with virtual magnification almost without losing quality up to 3x or 4x zoom.
As for the ultrawide camera, the Galaxy S25 Edge will carry a 12MP sensor measuring 1/2.55 inches, the same as the regular Galaxy S25 model. Unfortunately, a 50MP ultrawide camera like the S25 Ultra did not materialize.
The device is expected to be positioned between the Galaxy S25+ and the Galaxy S25 Ultra in terms of specifications and prices.
