Encourage Education Transformation, Acer For Indonesia Presents Free Learning Platforms For Teachers And Students
JAKARTA - In an effort to encourage digitalization in the Indonesian education sector, Acer through Acer for Indonesia presented two new initiatives, namely the Acer Smart School Academy and also the #AcerBerbagi initiative.
These two initiatives were deliberately launched in Merauke as a symbol of the company's commitment to be able to continue to participate in equitable improvement in the quality of teachers and students in Indonesia by integrating technology into the teaching and learning process.
"We hope that programs such as the Acer Smart School Academy and digital class donations and technology devices from Acer can have a real impact on supporting teachers and students throughout Indonesia, including Merauke," said Leny Ng, President Director, Acer Indonesia.
Titled Acer for Indonesia: Bakti for the World of Education, the Acer initiative is also supported by the Indonesian government, which hopes that Acer can participate in equalizing the digital transformation of education throughout Indonesia.
"We appreciate Acer's steps which consistently show his commitment to the world of education in Indonesia through the presence of digital learning programs and the use of technology, in order to improve the competence of teachers and students," said the Special Staff of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Achmad Aditya.
Acer Smart School Academy is a free long-distance self-developing platform designed for teachers and students throughout Indonesia, which was launched in Merauke on April 30, 2025.

Through this program, teachers can improve digital skills, understand how to optimally utilize technological devices, and adopt innovative learning approaches that are relevant to the needs of the times.
Meanwhile, students can access digital learning materials that are attractive, interactive, and in accordance with the national curriculum 'help them learn more independently and effectively.
Meanwhile, through the #AcerBerbagi initiative, Acer donated a digital class with a total of 150 units of Chromebook Acer devices, six units of Acer Altos interactive flat panels (IFP), six units of Altos Wifi routers and 200 accounts of the digital learning platform Explore Science for six schools in Merauke.
