Roy Suryo Asked To Stop Provokers, Prepare Evidence And Face Legal Process

JAKARTA Secretary General (Secretary General) of the Underground Forces (Pasbata), Budi Kuntoro, has firmly asked Roy Suryo, to stop statements that are considered misleading to the public and trigger national noise.

The telematics expert is currently being highlighted regarding the case of the fake diploma of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

According to him, a number of statements made by Roy Suryo and related parties have caused widespread unrest in the community and tarnished Indonesia's image in the eyes of the international community.

"Roy Suryo doesn't have to talk much. Just prepare mentally, prepare information, and all the evidence he has. Don't trick the Indonesian people with misleading news," said Budi.

Budi emphasized that the words made by Roy Suryo and his colleagues not only sparked uproar in the country, but also had the potential to damage the dignity of the nation in front of the global community.

Therefore, he reminded the importance of every public figure to be responsible for the statements made, especially those that have the potential to divide unity.

"This concerns the pride of the nation. The news that has been spread has been misleading and dangerous. Therefore, we ask Roy Suryo to stop talking in the media. Prove it at the court, prove it legally. Don't lead public opinion," he said.

Budi emphasized his commitment not to be provoked into reactive actions.

He said this attitude was taken as a form of compliance with the law and commitment to maintaining national unity.

"We are patient because we obey the law. We don't want this country to be divided. Therefore, we don't do any movements. But we ask, Roy Suryo and his friends not to continue to anger the people," he said.

Furthermore, Budi mentioned several other figures who were considered to have participated in spreading provocations, such as Dr. Tifa.

Budi considered their actions as a form of hatred and revenge due to political interests.

He called for all parties to be wiser in conveying criticism.

"It's time for us to unite. Criticism is legal, but not to destroy. Criticism must build, not become a tool of division," he said.

Budi added that his party invites all Indonesian people to remain calm, not be provoked by provocative narratives, and always prioritize the spirit of unity in responding to various developing dynamics.

The Indonesian nation needs the contribution of all elements of society to maintain its stability and dignity.
