Up 49.48 Percent, Jasa Marga's Net Profit Reaches IDR 927.49 Billion
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded a significant increase in net profit in the first quarter of 2025. Where in the first quarter of 2025, the Company recorded a net profit of IDR 927.49 billion.
Jasa Marga Corporate Secretary & Chief Administration Officer Ari Wibowo said the profit achievement jumped 49.48 percent compared to the same period last year.
Ari said the increase in net profit was supported by the company's operating income and EBITDA growth as well as a consolidated reduction in financial costs by 22.50 percent (yoy), as a positive impact of Equity Financing's corporate action at PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) which was carried out by the Company in the fourth quarter of 2024.
"The company managed to record operating income of Rp4.58 trillion or grew 8.58 percent from the first quarter of 2024," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, April 30.
Ari said the company's operating income value was driven by contributions from the toll revenue performance of Rp4.25 trillion, an increase of 8.42 percent and other operating income performance of Rp328.02 billion, growing 10.65 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
"The company's EBITDA realization also increased in line with the increase in Operating Revenue, reaching Rp3.02 trillion or growing by 9.15 percent, with a better realization of EBITDA Margin compared to the first quarter of 2024 which reached the level of 65.84 percent," he said.
According to Air, this shows the Company's commitment to implementing a business burden control strategy and focusing on optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness, which overall contributes to improving the company's financial performance.
Ari also said that the implementation of PT JTT's equity financing was a strategic effort by the Company to strengthen financial capacity as reflected in the increasingly healthy level of solvency in the first quarter of 2025.
The Interest Coverage Ratio (ICR) rate increased from 2.71x in the first quarter of 2024 to 3.81x. The Company's Interest Bearing Debt to Total Equity (DER) level was also well maintained at the level of 1.06x.
Ari said the company still holds a market leader position in the toll road industry with a total length of Jasa Marga Group toll roads that have operated along 1,286 KM representing 43 percent of toll roads operating throughout Indonesia and the total toll road concessions managed by the Company reaching 1,736 KM.

In managing the new toll road project, continued Ari, the company is committed to achieving the target that has been set optimally through controlling toll road construction activities gradually.
Until the end of March 2025, the progress of the construction of the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road segment Gending-Kraksaan (88.20 percent); the Kraksaan-Paiton Segment (80.92 percent); Paiton-Besuki segment (68.09 percent), and Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road segment Ambarawa-Bawen segment (58.78 percent).
Then, the Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Kulonprogo Toll Road segment Klaten-Purwomartani (83.47 percent), the South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road segment of the Bojongmangu-Sadang (90.98 percent) segment and the Patimban Access Toll Road, which are currently still in the land acquisition stage (83.48 percent).
