Securing 96.71 Grams Of Methamphetamine From Dealers In Banyumas, Police Chase The Suppliers

The police revealed a case of circulating methamphetamine in Banyumas Regency, Central Java, by arresting a dealer and confiscating evidence of shabu weighing 96.71 grams.

"We arrested the perpetrator with the initials AS (41) at his house which is in the Kober Village area, West Purwokerto District, Banyumas, on Wednesday (April 23), at 21.45 WIB," said Head of Banyumas Police, Police Commissioner Ari Wibowo accompanied by the Head of the Narcotics Unit, Police Commissioner Willy Budiyanto in Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency, Tuesday, April 29, confiscated by Antara.

During a search conducted at the perpetrator's house, he said, the Narcotics Unit officers found a number of evidences, including a transparent plastic clip which contained three transparent plastic clips containing crystal powder suspected of being methamphetamine with a net weight of 16.85 grams.

Furthermore, a transparent plastic clip bag in which there is a transparent plastic clip containing crystal powder suspected of being methamphetamine with a net weight of 45.82 grams, a transparent plastic clip bag in which there are seven transparent plastic clips containing a crystal attack suspected of having methamphetamine with a net weight of 31.14 grams, and one small pink wallet in which there is a transparent plastic clip containing crystalline powder suspected of being methamphetamine with a net weight of 2.89 grams.

"The confiscated evidence of methamphetamine weighs 96.71 grams," said Willy.

During interrogation, he said, AS admitted that the evidence of methamphetamine found by the Narcotics Unit officer belonged to a supplier with the initials TM.

"We have included TM in the wanted list," he explained.

In addition to methamphetamine, he said, his party also confiscated other evidence in the form of a glass pipette with the remaining use of methamphetamine, a bong or a shabu suction device, a digital scale unit, and a cell phone.

He said the US and all evidence had been secured at the Banyumas Police Headquarters to undergo further legal proceedings.

"Currently, the US has been named a suspect and charged with primary suspicion of Article 114 Paragraph (2) subsidiary to Article 112 Paragraph (2) of Law Number 35 Year 2009 concerning Narcotics," said Kompol Willy.
