After Being Lectured By Dedi Mulyadi, Netizens Are Gemes Seeing Criticism Of Aura Cinta
JAKARTA - A teenage girl named Aura Cinta, the owner of the TikTok account @iam_auracinta, is in the spotlight of netizens after criticizing Dedi Mulyadi's policies, including the ban on school farewell activities.
Aura, who has just finished high school education in Bandung, is known to be vocal in voicing her opinion on social media.
Aura's name began to be widely discussed after she uploaded a video of criticism of the policy of controlling houses along the river, which she said was detrimental to many families, including her own family.
The debate between Aura and Dedi Mulyadi increasingly garnered attention when the teenager rejected the policy of removing the school graduation event, which he considered an important moment in student education trips.
Netizens' responses also appeared in the comments column of Aura's upload, with various reactions. Most of the comments were in critical tone and regretted Aura's attitude which was considered less considering the financial condition of her parents.
"I can't imagine that his mother was forced to buy all the equipment without knowing the financial condition. If it wasn't followed, it would be angry," wrote the account @pokcoy.
"Istigfar, Immediately ask Allah Swt. Sorry for your people," commented the account @d3d3d4n1.
There are also netizens who think that Dedi Mulyadi's decision is actually in favor of the small people. "You are being alerted by Mr. Dedi, you should be grateful. There are things that are much more important, like your future than paying farewells," wrote the account @estutri_tami.
Similar comments came from the @cctvjogjafaktori account which assessed that the separation fund was better allocated for purposes after graduating from school, such as a college list or looking for work.
"Instead of making a separation, money can be for other purposes after graduating from school. For a college list or looking for work. A separation can be done simply no need for luxury," he commented.
One of the netizens expressed his support for Dedi Mulyadi's policy. He shared his experience when his son attended the graduation ceremony which had to pay a fee of Rp. 1.5 million for building rental.
"Alhamdulillah, many support Pak Dedi's policy. In the past, my son graduated to pay Rp 1.5 million in the building, it was very heavy, but had to be paid," said the account @dewi.mulyani46.
Aura Cinta is known to have met directly with Dedi Mulyadi for discussion. During the meeting, Dedi questioned the tradition of graduation at school, which he said was not a must. He emphasized that graduation should only be held at the university level.
"There was a graduation TK, SD graduated again, SMP graduated again, but his parents still live on the riverbanks. Yesterday I saw mothers crying because they had to pay for a study tour to Bali of Rp. 5.4 million," said Dedi via his Instagram account @dedimulyadi71.
According to Dedi, the ban on study tours and school graduations was made to protect the public from the burdensome burden of additional costs. When Aura asked that all students could feel the moment of separation, Dedi again emphasized that the event actually added to the family's financial burden.
"Departure money from whom?" asked Dedi.
"From parents," answered Aura.
"From parents, will it burden you or not? If you don't say goodbye, will the school disband?" continued Dedi.

According to Dedi, the memory of education is not determined by the farewell event, but by the study process that lasts for years. He also considered that Aura's criticism was not on target.
"Criticism should be aimed at policies that burden the people, such as school fees or flood problems. If the criticism is because it prohibits separation, it ends up being bullied because the logic is not right," said Dedi Mulyadi.
