The Thief Breaks Into The Shophouse In Kemayoran When The Owner Sleeps

JAKARTA - A shophouse on Jalan Raya Kebon Blank, Number 115, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta, was burglarized. As a result of this incident, the victim lost two cell phones, namely Iphone 15 and Iphone XS.

According to the victim with the initials M (25), the theft incident with the mode of breaking into the shop occurred when he fell asleep at the scene.

Then the perpetrator is strongly suspected of opening the lock on the shop's door by prying it.

The victim reported the incident to the Kemayoran Police with a report letter from LP/B/227/ IV/2025/SPKT/POLSEK KEMAYORAN/POLRES METRO JAKPUS/POLDA METRO JAYA.

After the police report was made, officers and the victim had tracked the victim's Find My Iphone to several locations. The location of the last point is on Jalan Gunung Sahari Raya, Central Jakarta.

However, the police admitted that they could not conduct a direct search because they needed a search warrant.

Furthermore, the police checked CCTV around the crime scene of theft of cellphones.

"Finally, the police asked for stronger evidence to simplify the process of investigating cases, such as CCTV evidence," said the victim, Sunday, April 27.

Until now, the theft case is still in the process of investigating the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kemayoran Police. The police are still collecting a number of evidence and looking for CCTV footage at the scene.
