The MBG Menu Is Unfit For Consumption To Happen Again, This Is The Explanation Of The BGN Boss

JAKARTA - The food menu from the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program is not suitable for consumption again. This time, it happened at the State Elementary School (SDN) 33, Kasipute, Central Rumbia, Bombana, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra), on Wednesday, April 23.

Thankfully, none of the victims were treated as medically as happened in Cianjur. The head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, said that the quality of the food distributed was that it was not suitable to eat.

"In Bombana there is a school where the food is not good, but it has been withdrawn immediately and has not been distributed. Other schools are safe," he told VOI, Friday, April 25.

BGN immediately took steps to evaluate and improve training for all Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) in all provinces. This training has started.

"BGN will conduct training to improve the service quality of food suppliers on a regular basis. The plan for training activities for food suppliers for Saturdays and Sundays is carried out for SPPG officers to be carried out in Serang, Jakarta, Karawang, Sumedang, Tasik, including Cianjur," explained Dadan.

Meanwhile, Riska Purnama Sari as Head of SPPG Darul Ilhamiyah Nusantara Foundation, Kasipute region apologized for the incident.

"We sincerely apologize to all beneficiaries, especially students, parents, the school, and the affected communities. We are committed to making improvements immediately," said Riska.

Ten elementary school students in Bombana, Southeast Sulawesi experienced vomiting after eating the MBG menu. It is suspected that there are 53 MBG packages in a stale condition.

Bombana Police Chief, AKBP Wisnu Hadi said 1,026 MBG packages were distributed to three schools, namely SD Negeri 33 Kasipute, SD Negeri 08 Kasipute, and SD Negeri 27 Doule. Meanwhile, the location of MBG is suspected to be at SD Negeri 33 Kasipute.
