Meta Diverts Threads Domain To Threads.com, Brings A Number Of New Features
JAKARTA - Since it was first launched, the domain for accessing Threads in the browser is Threads.net. But now, Meta announced it has shifted its domain to Threads.com.
Not only that, the tech giant owned by Mark Zuckerberg also introduced several updates that will perfect the experience of Threads users on desktop.
Web threads allow you to simplify a variety of things with one column, or you can add multiple passes, making it easier to keep up with important conversations.
First, when using a single column view on the web, you will now see a special feed at the top of the web page, of the same order as the one appearing on mobile devices.
In addition, Threads now allows users to copy posts as images, not screenshots, so it is more practical when they want to share them with Instagram or other apps.
Then, access to uploads that are liked and stored are also easier through the main menu icon. To quickly adjust the view, users can add a new column via the icon on the right side of the screen.

There is also a "+" button in the lower right corner that will display pop-up composers, when the user makes posts at any time.
Finally, Threads is testing a new feature that allows users to upload a list of accounts that are followed from other applications, starting with platform X, to facilitate connections and expand audiences for creators.
"We continue to release updates because we know that Web Threads is important for our growing community of creators and the overall Threads experience," concluded Meta in its announcement.
