The Constitutional Court Starts Trial Of The 2024 Regional Head Election PSU Results Lawsuit, 7 Cases Examined
JAKARTA - The Constitutional Court began hearing the lawsuit against the results of the re-voting (PSU) and the re-recapitulation of votes in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) on Friday, April 25, using the panel trial method.
Judging from the official website of the Constitutional Court, the trial is scheduled to start at 08.00 WIB with a preliminary examination agenda. There are seven cases that will be heard by the main points of his petition in this inaugural trial.

The seven cases include, among others, Number 311/PHPU.BUP-XXIII/2025 which was requested by Miren Kogoya and Mendi Wonerengga (Candidates for regents and deputy regents of Puncak Jaya, Central Papua, serial number 2) and Number 312/PHPU.BUP-XXIII/2025 with applicant Sugianto (Candidate for deputy regent of Siak, Riau, serial number 1).
Then, Number 313/PHPU.BUP-XXIII/2025 with the applicants Gogo Purman Jaya and Hendro Nudekelo (Candidates for regent and deputy regent of North Barito, Central Kalimantan, serial number 1) and Number 314/PHPU.BUP-XXIII/2025 which was requested by Amus Besan and Hamsah Buton (Candidate for regent and deputy regent of Buru, Maluku, serial number 4).
After that, Number 315/PHPU.BUP-XXIII/2025 which was requested by Citra Puspasari Mus and La Utu Ahmadi (Candidates for regents and deputy regents of Taliabu Island, North Maluku, serial number 2) and Number 316/PHPU.BUP-XXIII/2025 with applicants Sulianti Murad and Samsul Bahri Mang (Candidates for regent and deputy regent of Banggai, Central Sulawesi, serial number 3).
Finally, Case Number 317/PHPU.BUP-XXIII/2025 which was requested by Irwan Hasan and Haroni Mamentiwalo (Candidate for regent and deputy regent of the Talaud Islands, North Sulawesi, serial number 2).
These seven cases are suing the follow-up to the previous Constitutional Court decision. At the trial for the pronouncement of the verdict, Monday (24/2), the Constitutional Court ordered the KPU to conduct a PSU. Except for the case of Puncak Jaya Regency, the Constitutional Court ordered the recapitulation of the vote acquisition.
The trial will be divided into three panels. To ANTARA, the Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Bureau of the Constitutional Court Pan Mohamad Faiz previously explained that the composition of the panel judges was the same as the trial for the examination of the previous election dispute case.
That way, the composition of judges to examine the PSU lawsuit case, namely Panel I led by Suhartoyo together with Daniel Yusmic P. Foekh and M. Guntur Hamzah, Panel II led by Saldi Isra with Ridwan Mansyur and Arsul Sani, while Panel III was led by Arief Hidayat with Anwar Usman and Enny Nurbaningsih.

Furthermore, based on the recapitulation of applications seen from the Constitutional Court website, the total lawsuit resulting from the 2024 Pilkada PSU reached nine applications. However, two applications that were not tried today have not been registered so they do not have a case number.
The two applications, among others, were requested by the Indonesian Reform Supervisory Agency (LPRI) of South Kalimantan as the election monitor and Udiansyah as the voter. Both of them are both suing the results of the Banjarbaru City PSU, South Kalimantan.
