Holds Welcome Dinner For Simpeda Savings, Acting Governor Of Papua Welcomes BPDSI's Board Of Directors

JAKARTA - Acting Governor (Pj) Major General (Ret.) Papua Belias Limbong welcomed the board of directors of the Indonesian Regional Development Bank (BPDSI) at the welcoming dinner at the State Building Courtyard, Jayapura, Papua, Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

This activity is a series of agendas that have been prepared by Bank Papua as the host of the 2nd Simpeda Savings Draw for the XXXV-2025 Year.

In his remarks,urs said that his party appreciated the Association of Regional Development Banks (Asbanda) for appointing Bank Papua as the host of the National Simpeda Savings Draw. Papua is a land that is blessed and full of natural resources.

We are honored to be chosen to be the host. We are far away in East Ufuk, given the trust. Welcome to the guests of the invitation of the director of BPD throughout Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke," saidvis.

On this occasion,ikes also invited the board of directors of BPD throughout Indonesia to enjoy the natural beauty, culture, and culinary Papua.

"I suggest tasting the papada, because it is not complete to Papua if you don't taste the papada," he said.

vises also appreciated the performance of Bank Papua throughout 2024. According to him, the role of Bank Papua is very important in encouraging development and the economy on Earth of Cenderawasih.

Papua is healthy, advanced Papua can be realized if there is collaboration from all existing stakeholders, including Bank Papua. Bank Papua must continue to increase its role from time to time. On the same occasion, Acting (Plt) General Chairperson Asbanda Busrul Iman said the choice of Jayapura City to host the 2nd Simpeda Savings Draw for the XXXV-2025 Year was a trust given by BPD throughout Indonesia to hold national-scale events.

Previously, Bank Papua had hosted in 2004 and 2014. That means approximately 11 years ago. And this moment is a gathering place for the BPD extended family throughout Indonesia," explained Busrul.

In line with Busrul, President Director of Bank Papua Yuliana D. Yembise said that the National Simpeda Savings Draw event is an event to strengthen relations between BPDs throughout Indonesia.

"This is a symbol of friendship between our large BPD families throughout Indonesia," he explained.

According to him, this event serves as a reminder that BPD's strength lies in collaboration in building trust and encouraging regional economic growth, while improving services for customers.

"Let's make this moment, to strengthen the relationship, strengthen synergies, and celebrate our achievements together," he said.

In addition to the welcoming dinner, the series of Simpeda Savings Draws for the 2nd Period of XXXV-2025 will be followed by a national seminar entitled Implementation of Transaction Electronification Through Payment System Applications in Supporting Regional Government Programs: BPD Cooperation Through SPDI-RI dab Siskeudes-Link at the Papua Governor's Office on Thursday, April 24, 2025.

Still on the same day, Asbanda and Bank Papua held the peak event of the 2nd Simpeda Savings Draw for the XXXV-2025 year which took place at Istora Papua Bankit, Sentani, Jayapura.
