OMODA &JAECOO CEO Shawn Xu, in his parade at Auto Shanghai, said the brand had experienced very rapid growth. In the first quarter of 2025, sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) increased by 370 percent, with more than 50 percent of sales volume coming from electrified models. The Shanghai Auto Show 2025, which officially opened on April 23, is a special momentum for celebrating the two years of OMODA&JAECOO. The launch of the latest models such as C7 SHS, C5 SHS, and JAECOO J5 BEV reinforces the spirit of Born Global, Born NEV, born as a global brand with an electrification vision of the future.

Since entering the European market in early 2024, OMODA &JAECOO's expansion has reached seven major countries such as Spain, Italy, Poland, and the UK. More than 300 showrooms opened in just 14 months, with monthly sales breaking 10,000 units. In Spain, the brand won awards from Carow thanks to the impressive achievement of its market debut. At the same time, the construction of R&D facilities and local production was carried out to ensure global security standards such as Euro NCAP five stars, realizing commitments to world-class quality.

One of the proud achievements was JAECOO J7 SHS which recorded a record 1,613.1 km in a marathon test in Mexico and led a plug in hybrid market in Spain, Malaysia and the UK. Development facilities in Europe ensure that each model launched is able to meet local market regulations and expectations.

New Round In Indonesia

The electrification trend in Indonesia shows significant developments. In 2024, sales of electric vehicles grew 172 percent, with pure electric cars (BEVs) contributing 4.8 percent of the market. The government targets 400,000 EV units to pave the way until 2025, making Indonesia a candidate for regional EV center.

OMODA&JAECOO targets to launch five new SHS models this year and expand to more than 60 countries.
