Growing Imagination And Creativity Of Children Through The World Of Minecraft Blocks

JAKARTA - Minecraft is now not just a virtual game. This is an unlimited space to create, explore and imagine. The world is full of colorful blocks that have helped children channel their creativity, from building dream homes to reconstructing the real world in digital form.

Now, that spirit comes in a more tangible and fun form: through the launch of A Minecraft Movie Meal which combines the experience of eating and playing in an interactive package.

At the euphoria moment of the screening of the film A Minecraft Movie, this limited edition menu is here to welcome Minecraft fans of all ages. Not only presents the choice of the favorite menu, this launch also features a collection of exclusive toys and interactive digital experiences that make the Minecraft world more than just a screen.

Caroline Kurniadjaja, Associate Director of Marketing from McDonald's Indonesia, said that this collaboration was born from enthusiasm to stimulate children's imagination and creativity.

"Minecraft is a symbol of freedom of expression, and through this collaboration, children can bring their world of play to everyday life both through touchable toys, as well as digital experiences that can be explored together," he explained in a Happy Meal press statement to VOI.

This special menu is available during the period 7 to 27 April 2025, and consists of two main choices: a combination of cheese burgers or rice and chicken packages. Each purchase of this menu is accompanied by a surprise box containing a unique character figure that combines Minecraft elements and inspiration from the popular culinary world.

It also has a card with a special code that can be exchanged for exclusive skins in the game, providing additional excitement and personalization for Minecraft players.

In addition, from March 28 to May 1, 2025, children can also enjoy the specially designed Happy Meal version of Minecraft edition. This package not only presents iconic characters themed toys from the Minecraft world, but is also packaged in a typical pixel-style box.

Each toy provides a play experience that is not only exciting, but also encourages exploration and creativity, such as building a mini structure of blocks that can be rearranged according to their imaginations.

More than that, the uniqueness of this special edition lies in its ability to connect the real and digital world. By scanning the QR code on packaging, children can open portals to immersive virtual Minecraft experiences, such as entering the film world directly. This is what makes this campaign not just promotion, but a creative adventure that can be enjoyed with family.

"This limited edition is available in all participating restaurants, with the exception of certain locations. Customers can buy it through various channels, either directly at restaurants, through take-out services and Drive Thru, to online orders via their favorite food delivery platforms," he concluded.
